EQE vs BMW i4 Near San Jose, CA

Head to Starlite Ballroom for ballroom dancing, San Jose Bachata Nights for lessons or social dancing, or Mavericks when you're ready for some late-night line dancing. Of course, if you prefer to let others do the dancing while you sit back and enjoy, Starbright Theater is a great place to spend an evening.

In keeping with the dancing theme, luxury car manufacturers continue to reach new milestones and set higher benchmarks as they waltz their latest offerings onto the electric vehicle dance floor.

Newer contestants include the Genesis Electrified G80, Jaguar I-PACE, and Porsche Taycan. Models that have seen a few redesigns and mechanical improvements include the Audi e-tron®, Volkswagen ID.4, and the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

Because it takes two to tango, the judges have tapped out all but two of the most prominent electric sedans. Let's see what happens when the EQE vs BMW i4 go head-to-head in the final dance-off.

EQE vs BMW i4

Built on the solid and arguably superior craftsmanship of Mercedes-Benz, the EQE ushers storied driving performance into an electrifying new era.

Sophisticated, ultra-refined, and more than roomy-the cabin is downright cavernous-the EQE is the most recent addition to the already impressive electric vehicle (EV) line-up. At the base level, front seats are heated, and a panorama roof, 64-color LED ambient lighting, and pre-entry climate control are standard.

Powerful, athletic, yet light on its feet, the EQE can sway in sync with the curves of a windy Santa Clara County back road or get its jam on when merging onto I-280.

BMW deftly unites sports sedan driving dynamics and the latest fifth-generation eDrive technology with exceptional luxury and user-friendly tech. This careful choreography pleases passengers while empowering the driver to have fun while on the road. Whether cruising with friends for a night out at Santana Row or to a Giants game, the BMW i4 dances to the beat of its own finely-crafted drum.

Both EVs are at the top of their game. It's the slight nuances that may help you decide which is right for you. Let's compare the EQE vs BMW i4 in categories that are important to EV buyers.

Reliability and Quality

As one of the world's top-selling luxury brands, Mercedes-Benz vehicles are known for superior craftsmanship and solid performance. Although new to the scene, the EQE put on a show-stopping performance that merits positive industry reviews. J.D. Power ranks the EQE #1 in the Large Premium Car category and consumers rate the electric sedan 79 out of 100 for quality and reliability.

At the time of this writing, neither the 2022 nor 2023 BMW i4 had been reviewed or evaluated by J.D. Power.
